Andrew Schwikkard Architect is a Durban-based architectural practice led by Andrew Schwikkard, a professionally registered architect with extensive experience across a diverse range of project types.

Andrew was born and raised in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. He obtained his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2006, followed by a Master of Architecture degree from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in 2010. He has been professionally registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) since 2014.

After gaining valuable experience at two established architectural practices in Durban, working on residential, commercial, educational, and industrial projects, Andrew established his independent practice in 2017. This broad exposure has informed a practical, well-rounded approach to design, grounded in both creative thinking and technical understanding.

The practice prides itself on efficiency, clear communication, and a strong commitment to client service. A key focus is expectation management and building trusted partnerships with clients, guiding them through every stage of the design and construction process.
